RAMS FALL TO PANTHERS, 4-3

RICHMOND, Va. – After a hard fought battle, the Virginia Commonwealth University women’s tennis team fell to Georgia State, 4-3, on Saturday April 4th at the Thalhimer Tennis Center.
The Rams started to rally, but ended up falling short in the end. Freshman Alex Bara gave VCU the tie by defeating Katerina Gresova, 6-3, 6-0. In the deciding match, the Panthers clinched the victory, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2, on the No. 3 court.
GSU improves to 7-4, while VCU falls to16-7.
The Rams finish their regular season on the road at South Alabama on April 11th.
