FORMER RAMS DOMINATE ACTION AT VIRGINIA CLAY COURTS
KESWICK, Va. – Hot off her run into the NCAA Singles Tournament, former VCU standout Tatsiana Uvarova earned a victory over the weekend at the USTA Virginia State Open Clay Court Championships at the Glenmore Country Club.

Uvarova bested a field that included former teammates Olga Borisova and Viktoria Konstantinova.

In Sunday’s final, Uvarova toppled former Old Dominion star Nataly Fleishman, 6-2, 6-2.

Additionally, VCU Assistant Coach Romain Ambert teamed with Fleishman to capture the mixed doubles crown, 6-3, 6-2 over Bridget and Kevin Reichert.

In the women’s doubles draw, Borisova and Fleishman outlasted Konstantinova and Uvarova, 6-2, 6-4 for the title.
