PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Amy Lewis scored three goals in a 6:27 span to lead 17th-ranked Rutgers past VCU, 4-0, Sunday afternoon.

The loss was the Rams’ second straight to drop them to 4-4. The Scarlet Knights are 7-1.

Senior keeper Laura Baker (Kent, England) saved nine shots for VCU.

Rutgers out shot VCU, 17-2, and held a 9-2 advantage in penalty corners.

The Rams return to action on Friday, Sept. 26, when they travel to face Colonial Athletic Association foe Towson at 7 p.m.
