NORFOLK, Va. – Virginia Commonwealth University senior Laura Baker (Kent, England) recorded 12 saves in goal, but the Rams fell to rival Old Dominion, 4-0, Sunday at Foreman Field.

VCU slips to 4-13 overall and 0-7 in the Colonial Athletic Association. The Lady Monarchs improve to 7-11, including 5-2 in the CAA.

Katelyn Smither sandwiched two goals around scores by Kathryn Kirk and Rachel Stream for ODU.

The Lady Monarchs out shot the Rams, 27-4 and out cornered them, 11-3.

VCU returns to the turf on Thursday, Oct. 30 when it takes on top-ranked Maryland at 7 p.m. in College Park, Md.
