As a prospective student-athlete, it is important for you and your family to familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations developed by the NCAA and the Colonial Athletic Association regarding your academic eligibility, amateurism eligibility, registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center, financial aid and recruiting. You should work closely with your high school counselors, recruiters and college admissions officers to ensure your eligibility status.
For a complete description of compliance guidelines, information on the recruiting process and what to look for when considering colleges, visit the NCAA’s Eligibility Center Web site, or download the Guide for the College-Bound Student-Athlete [ English - PDF] [ Spanish - PDF]..
Test scores
You must achieve the required score on either the SAT or ACT test before your full-time college enrollment. Official test scores must be sent to the eligibility center directly from the testing agency using code 9999. Test scores that appear on a high school transcript will not be accepted.
For more information and to register for tests, visit the SAT and ACT Web sites.
