GENERAL
●Side-winding right-hander who will anchor the back end of the Rams bullpen
●Coming off three straight All-Star appearances during the last three summers – twice in the Valley League and once in the Coastal Plain League

2009/JUNIOR
●Appeared in 17 games with seven starts on the mound
Went 1-2 with a 5.56 ERA and a pair of saves
●Logged 43.2 innings and finished with 24 strikeouts and just seven walks
After coming out of the bullpen in 10 of his first 12 appearances, he got the start in his final five outings
●Posted back-to-back saves in a double header sweep of Fordham (3/8)
●Against VMI, he picked up the win in his first start of the season (3/31)
●Struck out a season-high three batters against both Northeastern (4/25) and Old Dominion (5/9)
●After allowing a pair of earned runs in his season debut, he made six straight appearances without surrendering an earned run

2008/SOPHOMORE
●Appeared in 18 games, all out of the bullpen
●Finished with an 0-1 mark, an 8.26 ERA and two saves in 28.1 innings of work
●Tossed two scoreless innings against CAA foe, Northeastern (4/12)
●Four scoreless innings of work in win over Richmond was a career-high (4/15)
●In win over Towson, went 3.1 innings with two strikeouts and no walks (5/4)

2007/FRESHMAN
●Appeared in 12 games, accumulating a record of 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA
●In 18.0 innings pitched, he allowed just three earned runs and 18 hits, while recording seven strikeouts
●After allowing two earned runs in his debut against nationally-ranked San Diego, the right-hander went seven straight appearances without allowing an earned run, a span of 8.2 innings
●Picked up his first collegiate win after throwing scoreless inning in backend of doubleheader sweep of Fordham (2/24)
●Tossed career-high 2.2 innings against Virginia State, allowing just one hit and picking up his second win (5/9)
●Racked up 7.1 innings against CAA opponents and did not allow any runs

PRIOR TO VCU
●Played four years of baseball for Alleghany High School
●Led the Mountaineers to the Region III tournament his last three seasons
●Three-time selection for 1st team All-Blue Ridge District as a pitcher
●Two-time 2nd team All-Region III pitcher
●Virginian Review Pitcher of the Year his senior season
●Holds record for lowest ERA in Alleghany history (0.79)

●Son of Mike and Cindy Andrews
●Has a cousin, Travis Andrews who plays baseball for Roanoke College
