●Played four years of varsity baseball and two years of varsity football for the Dinwiddie High School Generals
●Led baseball team to the Central District Tournament his junior season
●Three-time first-team All-District selection
●First team All-Tri-cities all four years
●Earned second team All-Region honors his junior year and earned second team All-District recognition his senior year
